Kaiti Primrose raised more than a few eyebrows when she told people she was going to step inside the ring given she had barely thrown a punch in her life.

Primrose told family and friends in June that she was going to make her boxing debut but basically nobody thought she'd go through with it.
But she will make her amateur debut against Felicity Loiterton in the 63-kilogram division at the Capital Region Muscular Dystrophy's charity fight night at the Hellenic Club in Woden on Saturday night.
"People suffering from muscular dystrophy are uncomfortable every day of their lives, I might as well be uncomfortable for the 10 minutes that I'm in the ring," Primrose said.
"I've seen a couple of fight shows and thought 'yeah I'll do that one day'. But I never actually thought that I'd ever do it.
"I expressed some interest and they were like 'welcome aboard'. That was really cool, when I expressed my interest I didn't think that it would actually be a go ahead, and it was."
Before she knew it an "extremely fortunate" Primrose was taken under Canberra boxer Ben Reid's wing, having been pushed in his direction by one of her soccer teammates.
Primrose is gearing up for her "first and maybe only fight" and says she couldn't have got through training camp without Reid, Stockade Training Centre's Garry Hamilton, Dean Toussaint from Hill Sports Academy and Boxing ACT's Louise De La Rosa.
The 20-year-old says she has been "extremely blessed" to be surrounded by such a good group, and now her only worry is making sure she doesn't get stage fright.
"I'm hoping that I'll stay on my feet and that I won't pass out or anything,' Primrose said.
"I'm not worried about getting punched, I'm worried that I myself will get super nervous and get stage fright. During sparring practice and whatnot I've been pretty good, I've been comfortable taking a hit and giving a hit so hoping it translates into the ring."
