The Wallabies created history on Saturday evening with a 23-18 victory over the All Blacks but it was the Indigenous jersey they wore that received a big tick of approval all over the country.

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Aboriginal boxer Anthony Mundine were just two of the high-profile names to throw their support behind the jersey that was the brainchild of Wallabies star Kurtley Beale.
"Brilliant win. Great jersey. Well done Wallabies!" Turnbull tweeted to his 939,000 followers.

In the aftermath of the five-point victory, there has been debate around whether the Wallabies should wear the jersey more often than once a year.
It would be a decision for the Australian Rugby Union to make but if they were in any way superstitious, it would make sense to keep the jersey as more of a permanent thing given the Wallabies had only beaten the All Blacks once in their previous 18 matches.
Mundine is also a big fan of the jersey.
"The wallabies should wear the ABORIGINAL jersey always," Mundine tweeted, while Melbourne Rebels player Mick Snowden also added: "Any chance of the #Wallabies playing in that Indigenous jersey every week? We're 100% so far."

Beale spoke at length this week about what the jersey meant to him and Cheika took the chance at the start of his post-match press conference to express his delight that the team was able to play in a jersey of such significance.
"There was a real honour for the team to have this opportunity and [artist] Dennis [Golding] came in earlier in the week and he explained to us ??? the meaning of the jersey itself," Cheika said. "The team has been instrumental and were front and centre of asking the Union to bring the welcome to country up to the anthems stage.
"Our team is a team that is built on from all different lands. It was a great opportunity for us to be involved in an occasion like that and I hope it resonates with everyone and that we as a Union keep it going."
