Roadside Drug Testing can occur at any time.
“Police officers trained in Roadside Drug Testing have the ability to test anyone driving a vehicle, anywhere at any time, in the same way that anyone driving a vehicle can be required to provide a specimen of breath for a Roadside Breath test,” Officer in Charge of Mount Isa Road Policing Unit Acting Sergeant Luke Flanagan said.
“Driving under the influence of a drug, or with a relevant drug in your system can be just as bad, if not worse, that driving under the influence of liquor.”
