Blackstars won the toss and elected to bat.
Openers Cam Conlan and Scotty Kyle piled on the runs with Conlan compiled 73 and Kyle ending up with 46.
The runs continued down the order with Ben Spponer making 34 not out and Andy Cullis making 25.
Blackstars ended up 3/215 scoring at well over a run a ball. Vicky was the best of the Challengers bowlers taking 2/34.
Batting in reply was always a challenge for the Challengers and Vicky backed up from his bowling to make 22.
Though wickets fell regularly there was some resistance down the order from Rafaqat Ali who made 53 runs, Pradip with 25 and Pervez with 30.
Despite a brave effort to get to 7/200 from 3/51, the Challengers fell short by 15 runs.
Best of the bowlers were Jamie Stewart with 3/28, Cam Conlan 2/23 and Andy Cullis 2/52.
In the morning game at Sunset Cavaliers beat Townview.
Batting first Cavs made 6/171 with Sam Peters falling just shy of his century on 97 and C. Martin made 42.
Adam Moes took 2/27.
In reply Townview made 5/142 with Moes making 51 and J. Knight 45.
C. Martin took 4/22 and Cavs took the game by 29 runs.
Cavaliers made it a double for the day beating Panthers in the afternoon game, again batting first.
Peters continued his red hot form from the morning making 56 and he was backed up by J.Naylor who ended up 53 not out in a score of 6/160.
L. Greafe (2/10) and R. Snowball (2/39) for best bowlers with two wickets apiece.
