Mount Isa police charge 14-year-old boy with serious assault

On Thursday, November 9, Mount Isa police arrested and charged a 14-year-old boy with serious assault.

It will be alleged in court that on Wednesday, November 8, a 64-year-old female victim was spat on by the offender at a shop in Mount Isa.

The boy was charged with serious assault.

He was also charged with shop stealing and he will appear before the Mount Isa Children’s Court at a later date to be determined.
