Emergency services deal with accidents at Kynuna and Croydon

Emergency Services in the region were kept busy with a couple of accidents, one in McKinlay Shire, the other near Croydon where someone had to walk 75km to raise the alarm.

At about 12am on Monday November 6, police attended a vehicle rollover at Kynuna, involving a rollover of a road train. No other vehicles were involved and the driver was not injured.

Meanwhile on Thursday November 9 paramedics were tasked to respond to a single vehicle rollover on Richmond Road, Croydon after an occupant of the crash reportedly trekked 75kms to seek medical assistance. 

Four occupants were transported to Croydon Hospital with injuries.

The Royal Flying Doctor Service airlifted the patients to Cairns Hospital in a stable condition.
