At about 3.15pm on Thursday November 16 police attended a traffic crash on Burke Developmental Road Normanton, after a vehicle collided with the rear of a road train.

It is alleged that the driver of the vehicle was travelling behind the road train on an unsealed dirt road and collided with the rear trailer when the road train came to a stop.
The vehicle required towing from the scene and one driver received minor injuries.
Police remind all road users to drive to the conditions and slow down in circumstances of limited visibility or changes in road conditions, examples include rain, wet weather and roads, unsealed road surfaces, limited lighting, dust and fog.
