Detectives have released CCTV vision of a potential witness after a "vicious" stabbing attack at a Logan shopping centre on Monday night that left a man in a critical condition in hospital.

Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Furlong said the attack wasn't believed to be random and that it was possible the victim and his attacker had arranged to meet in the underground car park at Underwood Marketplace on Beenleigh Road.
The 25-year-old male victim arrived at the shopping centre about 6.40pm in his mother's Mercedes-Benz before getting into an argument was an unknown man in the underground car park about five minutes later.
He was then stabbed in the abdomen and staggered up to the top of the escalator in the main centre where he collapsed. Bystanders rushed to his aid as he was bleeding profusely from the wound and paramedics rushed him to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
The man underwent emergency surgery overnight for what was described as a "single stab wound". He remained in a critical condition on Tuesday.
Senior Sergeant Furlong said officers were "very concerned about the behaviour and violence of the attack", especially in such a public place with families around.
After combing through CCTV, detectives have appealed for a potential male witness to come forward.
He was seen wearing a red baseball cap, blue shirt and glasses as the victim runs into the centre for help behind him.
There is no indication the potential witness was involved in the assault but could have valuable information.
Detectives also believe they have CCTV vision of the offender in the car park, but the image is of poor quality.
Police have appealed to anyone who was walking or driving through the area or may have dashcam or CCTV vision around the time of the stabbing to come forward.
