The Queensland Police Service have failed to locate Daniel Allan Baker, who was last listed at a Home Hill address in North Queensland.
Mr Baker first appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court in July after he was extradited from the Northern Territory.
He was charged with three counts of fraud, two counts of stealing as a person in public service, and misconduct of a police officer.
Mr Baker was confirmed bail on the condition he surrender his passport, not leave Queensland and not visit Camooweal or initiate contact with anyone from the town.
Mr Baker was then excused from his next mention in Mount Isa Magistrates Court in September but was instructed to appear in October where the police prosecution was prepared to file evidence against him.
At the October mention, Mr Baker did not appear and his Legal Aid Queensland solicitor Rhianna Batt, told the court she had lost contact with Mr Baker. The magistrate ordered for Mr Baker to appear at the next mention in November or a warrant for his arrest would be released.
Mr Baker failed to appear on November 6, and the court heard from solicitor Ms Batt who announced she had not re-established contact with Mr Baker and did not object to the warrant being released.
Contact with Mr Baker has not been re-established since.
