Tuesday November 28 saw widespread showers across north west Queensland, with Mount Isa receiving 3.2mm.
Around Mount Isa, May Downs received 3mm, Black Gorge 13mm and Lake Julius 2.2mm.
Further to the east Cloncurry received 14mm and Julia Creek 12mm.
To the north Gregory Downs recorded 14mm, Burketown 5.4mm, Flinders/Cloncurry Junction 21mm and Mornington Island received 42mm.
So far the monthly total for Mount Isa is 37.4mm while Cloncurry’s total is 58.2mm.
The remaining forecast in Mount Isa for the rest of the week, predicts mostly sunny conditions for Thursday November 30 reaching a top of 39 degrees with some light winds.
Friday December 1 should see partly cloudy conditions with a medium (50 per cent) chance of showers, most likely in the evening and reaching a top of 40 degrees.
Saturday December 2 should see medium (60 per cent) chance of a thunderstorm in the morning, winds southerly 15 to 20 km/h in the morning becoming light during the day only reaching a top of 36 degrees.
Ande Sunday December 3, sunny conditions with a top temperature of 35 degrees.
