Two women have died after hitting a power pole and another car on the Warrego Highway west of Brisbane on Saturday morning.

Drivers were going nowhere, as all lanes were closed in the aftermath of the double-fatality incident, creating long queues throughout the afternoon.
Police said a car carrying three women hit a power pole and a ute at Minden in the Somerset region just before midday.
A 67-year-old driver and 18-year-old passenger in a hatchback sedan died at the scene, while a 21-year-old passenger was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with critical injuries.
The 37-year-old male driver of the ute involved suffered only minor injuries.
The Warrego Highway was closed until about 6pm and Forensic Crash Unit investigations were continuing.
Meanwhile, motorists heading south along the M1 through the Gold Coast were also caught in significant delays.
A truck clipped a car and rolled on the M1 at Gaven just before 1pm, closing two northbound lanes.
While there weren't any serious injuries, more than five kilometres of delays stretched back along the M1, even after the wreckage had been cleared off the road.
