Deputy Premier Jackie Trad has been apointed to Treasurer in a Cabinet reshuffle ahead of a caucus meeting on Monday.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced her economic team on Sunday, adding she would take over the Trade portfolio.
Ms Trad will also take on the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships portfolio.
Cameron Dick will be shifted from Health to State Development and Kate Jones will move from Education and take on the Innovation portfolio and focus on Tourism Industry Development, the Commonwealth Games and will also be responsible for International Education.
Ms Palaszczuk said Mr Dick's State Development portfolio would be a "strong development, harking back to the Beattie days".
Stirling Hinchliffe, Craig Crawford and Di Farmer would also be added to the cabinet team, raising the number to 18, Ms Palaszczuk said.
"Let me also say this cabinet team is strong, dynamic and it also means we have equal representation of men and women in our cabinet which is how the Queensland population is represented," she said.
"I believe this is the strongest team to drive economic development and jobs in this state."
Ms Trad said she was "honoured" to be bestowed the "large responsibility" and said she would be working to continue to lower debt in the state.
"We released our fiscal statement at the time of the election, we have outlined quite clearly that we will continue to operate under the six key fiscal principles and we will continue to manage debt responsibly," she said.
"Debt today is lower than it was forecast under the last budget handed down by Tim Nicholls, $12 billion less and we will continue to work hard to reduce debt in this state without selling assets and by creating jobs for Queenslanders and improving frontline service delivery, which we have done in our last term of government."
On Saturday, Ms Palaszczuk put forward former Treasurer Curtis Pitt as Labor's nominee for Speaker in the 56th Queensland Parliament.
On Sunday, Ms Palaszczuk said that after discussions with Mr Pitt, he was "more than happy".
"I had a conversation with Curtis and can I say the Speaker of the Queensland Parliament is an incredibly important role and he has the integrity and the commitment to do that job," she said.
"He is more than happy, if he is successful, he will be my nominee to the caucus tomorrow to be the Speaker of the Queensland Parliament."
The previous speaker, independent MP Peter Wellington, retired at the November 25 election.
The Labor caucus will meet in Brisbane on Monday ahead of the swearing-in ceremony at Government House on Tuesday.
