For the sixth year running, locals dressed to impress, decorate their vehicles in whimsical Christmas themes and and joined a tour the streets on December 10, to witness the best Christmas lights Mount Isa has to offer.
About 100 vehicles took part in the Cavalcade organised again by Megan Crowther and they did a tour of around 30 houses that had registered in suburbs across town: Miles End, Soldiers Hill, Winston, Sunset, Townview, Mornington, Healy, Hilton and Parkside.
Ms Crowther thanked all the sponsors that made the night possible.
A highlight was the arrival of Santa and Mrs Claus on their Harley in the Barkly Hotel carpark before the cavalcade and Santa had a small gift for each child that came up to say hello.
Retha de Beer took out the best dressed vehicle complete with a sleigh and an elf on the shelf.
