The death of a man at a Gold Coast park on Tuesday morning appears to be non-suspicious, police say.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said indications from the scene where the body was found suggest the man's death was not suspicious.

A crime scene was initially established at the park on West King Lane in Southport after the body was found about 9.45am.
Investigations were continuing and an official autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
