Rodeo General manager Natalie Flecker is currently in Las Vegas to participate in the rodeo’s first international consumer trade show in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association National Finals Rodeo.
The Isa Rodeo has put together a Reef, Rainforest and Rodeo package for the North American market through a leading international travel company Down Under Answers which will be available for travellers to purchase at their stand to come to Australia and Mount Isa for the diamond 60th anniversary Rodeo in 2018.
The stand features a map of Australia where visitors can throw darts to find out if they know “where the bloody hell is Mount Isa”. One visitor Danielle Redfern had no problem finding it as she comes from Mount Isa.
Other visitors have included Miss Rodeo Australia Emma Deicke, eigth times Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association Rodeo Clown of the Year Flint Rasmussen.
Also there were son and father rodeo clowns Brinson James and Hollywood Harris, the latter who entertained at this year’s rodeo.
