Centre Director, Sarah Gohdes-Smith, said they wanted to do something extra special to mark the important occasion.
“It was an amazing night celebrated in style, and a great opportunity for the families to get together away from the centre and watch their children receive their kindergarten diplomas,” Ms Gohdes-Smith said.
“Here at Red Oasis we would like to wish all of our little people all the best for the new year as they venture off to big school!”
Children presented a few songs for the parents, including ‘A home amongst the gum trees’, which they performed using hand-made and decorated props.
Denise Burlingham, one of the parents, said it was great to see the difference that the children have shown over the past year
“The development in themselves and their confidence reflects on the educators within the centre and how they have helped.”
Kindergarten teacher, Tania Massey, said it was “lovely to see so many extended family members attend the evening”, including grandparents, aunties and uncles, along with close family friends.
