Police have dropped seven charges against Street Swags founder Jean Madden, who was accused of misappropriating more than $400,000 from her charity last year.

The 38-year-old former Young Australian of the Year was charged in July with one count of dishonestly causing detriment to the charity.
Earlier this year police laid a further eight charges against the Brisbane woman, including six counts of fraud, one count of falsifying record and one count of attempted fraud.
Ms Madden did not appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday, where it was heard no evidence would be offered in relation to seven of the nine charges against her.
She still faces two charges which will be referred to police prosecutors.
Ms Madden's case will be back in court on January 17 for a summary call-over.
Ms Madden posted a video to her Facebook page at 10am and said the past two years had been traumatising.
"The faceless men behind this destruction of my life and the good I created in the world still haven't found anything on me because I never did anything wrong," she said.
"I would like to thank everyone who has supported me and to the witchhunters, I say all in good time my pretties, all in good time."
