Police have charged three boys following a fire which was allegedly deliberately lit resulting in the destruction of a house and four caravans in Cloncurry yesterday (January 4) evening .

It will be alleged the boys lit a number of spot fires in the vicinity of the property located on Depot Street. Strong winds and dry conditions have then resulted in the fires taking hold and causing extensive damage on the property.
The boys, two 11-year-olds and a 15-year-old were allegedly seen running from the area at the time of the fires and police located them hiding in nearby bushland.
All three will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
