Cloncurry Shire Council are hosting an Australian Day drive-in movie on Thursday from 7.30pm at Cloncurry Swimming Pool, with free entry.
- The Buffs Club is advertising a swathe of entertainment from 10am, with indoor cricket, tin can bowling, thong throwing, tent building, live entertainment, and will be serving Australia Day specials.
- Mount Isa Irish Club is hosting ‘Straya Day Celebrations in the Piano Bar from 6pm, with gold and green cocktails, Australia themed games, and resident DJ Glow spinning Aussie classics.
- Cloncurry’s Australia Day Awards Ceremony is on Friday at Cloncurry Community Precinct from 9am, followed by a free barbecue brunch.
Then from 2pm at Cloncurry Recreation Grounds, enjoy a BYO afternoon of Australian sports.
- Camooweal’s annual Australia Day Lawn Mowing Races will also take place again this year.
