Netball is hugely popular in Mount Isa.
The Mount Isa Amateur Netball Association is holding its sign on day on Saturday, February 10 from 8–10am and would like to encourage everyone to come along to Wellington oval.
MIANA’s Barbara Baker said they welcomed old and new players, coaches, umpires and volunteers.
“It’s sign on day for junior and seniors as well, so if you’d like to play, come down and register,” Ms Baker said.
“Registrations fees are the same as 2017 for senior players $170 and junior $140.”
The annual Waitangi Day game is due to begin early on the day because of the heat.
Warm up for the teams begins at 7.40 with the game starting closer to 8am.
Gate fees on the day are for family $5, adults $2 and children $1.
