The Chaplaincy committee provides support for three chaplains to remain in six schools across Mount Isa.
Chairperson, Mischa Grummitt said all funds raised go towards supporting, growing and continuing the chaplains work at Spinifex State College, Barkly Highway State School, Townview State School, Central State School, Mount Isa School of the Air and Mount Isa Special School.
“We looked into Billy G’s cookie dough late last year and decided it was a great way to raise much needed funds,” Mr Grummitt said.
“Billy G’s is an Australian family owned business and the cookie dough is not sold in stores.”
The schools have been supplied with paper order forms however an online store specifically for the Mount Isa Chaplaincy fundraiser is available to take orders for convenience.
Orders need to be finalised by Friday, March 2 with delivery of the tubs of cookie dough expected in Mount Isa before the Easter term break.
