Mount Isa Police thank the public for help

Mount Isa Police have thanked the public for their vigilance in reporting crime and assisting police with information, and witness details.

Police say they have arrested a number of property crime offenders due to the vigilance of the community, and assistance of witnesses.

On Thursday February 8, two boys aged 12 and 14 were charged with stealing a bicycle.

Also on Thursday February 8, two boys aged 13 and 16 were arrested in relation to a series of drugs and stealing offences.

They were charged with possession of dangerous drugs, attempted burglary, break and enter, and stealing from a person.
