Normanton Police shout morning tea for state school students

On Thursday February 8, Normanton police officers took morning tea to the state school for the kids to help them stay focused on their education. Snr Const Aaron Cole partnered with local fresh fruit producers to provide home baked muffins, biscuits, apples, and cornflake crackles. The food bags contained words of encouragement to keep kids learning. “80 food bags were distributed, it was a huge success, so is becoming a weekly event,” Officer in Charge Mark Corry said.
