Mayor Joyce McCulloch encouraged members of public and pool users with ideas and suggestions to have their say.
“If there is something you think will help make Splashez an even greater place to visit, contact the Council on 07 4747 3200 or visit the Mount Isa City Council’s Facebook page,” said Cr McCulloch.
“Improved access for people with mobility issues, including those in wheelchairs, are among the structural improvements already included for consideration in response to community feedback.
“The consultation phase won’t be rushed with a budget and schedule of works to be considered in due course.”
Cr McCulloch said relining of the 50-metre pool is an early priority.
“The tiles lining the pool are due to be replaced and other maintenance completed to ensure the pool stays up to standard and safe to use for many years to come,” said Cr McCulloch.
“We will update the community on this project and all other planned works as the details are worked through.”
