The return of lessons saw previous players and new ones excited to be on the court.

Publicity officer Theresa Braithwaite said head coach Tom Braithwaite was happy to pass on his extensive skills to approximately 56 juniors and adults.

Ms Braithwaite said the players were enjoying the lessons and were keen to learn how to play tennis well. 

“The focus is on getting their technique right so we’ve started with the basics and the experienced ones are in competitions.

“Adult competitions started this week with mixed singles played every Monday night and the social competition on Wednesday nights.”

“Coaching is available on Monday through to Thursday afternoons from 3.30pm onwards and Saturday mornings from 8.30am,” she said.
