On Thursday, February 22, the St Kieran’s Catholic School Community came together to formally induct the new school leaders, school representatives, and class parents for the 2018 school year.

The school also gathered to welcome back families and staff members as well as extend a special welcome to new staff members and new families.
Father Mick Lowcock and Councillor Peta McRae were on hand to congratulate the new leaders.
Principal Claudine Dank said this year has been identified by the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference as the year of the youth.
“It’s important that as youth, we learn the basis for moral values and be open to new horizons,” Mrs Dank said.
This year Meg Logan and Jake Lobegeiger were awarded the St Vincent De Paul Leader.
Ashton Graham, Rilee Webber, Preston Lehman and Sam Winks were inducted as the new sports leaders.
Bernadette Feliciano and Lara Siemer were inducted as the service leaders.
Linkyn Macmillan and Jorja Kelly became this years school captains.
