Black Stars wrapped up the Mount Isa Cricket Association minor premiership with a strong victory over Panthers at Captain Cook Oval on Saturday.

Electing to bat they lost Ash Benson early for just 2 but Scott Kyle (59) and Cam Conlon (35) came together to steady the innings.
Andy Cullis chipped in with a handy 36 before J. Green came in at number five to top score at 64 before he was run out.
The Black Stars eventually climbed to 269 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their allotted 40 overs.
Best bowlers were B. McCormack with 3/44 and Calum Fullelove with 2/54.
Like the Stars, Panthers lost an early wicket, Pradip out for one but number three Dan Tucker was the anchor of the innings and he top scored with 76.
But the wickets kept falling around him with Clark making 33 and W. Allen next best on 32.
Green completed an all round man of the match performance for the Black Stars taking 3/49 to supplement Andrew Lawrenson, the best of the bowlers with 4/45.
Panthers were rolled for 210, losing by 59 runs.
The finals begin this coming weekend with the same two sides scheduled to meet again.
Black Stars (1) will play Panthers (2) at Sunset Oval for the right to play in the final while Western Bulls (3) play Cavaliers (4) in the elimination final at Captain Cook Oval.
