The Queen’s Baton Relay stopped the city of Mount Isa yesterday as 22 batonbearers from leg two and three ran the streets with pride.

The emotions were evident on their faces as they braved the wet weather to make their way to the Buchanan Park Events Complex for the celebration.
There was dancing in the streets as the baton was passed from one bearer to the next.
