The flight from Brisbane arrived just after 2:40pm Wednesday, March 7.
Woolworths Store manager John Neal said they were expecting essential products the community needs everyday.
“Natural disasters happen all too often in Australia, though when they do, we all rally together,” Mr Neal said.
“Woolworths has emergency relief plans and procedures in place to ensure that we are delivering key essentials when it's needed most.”
On Thursday 22 pallets of fresh milk will arrive in Mount Isa by truck.
“It’s coming from Adelaide and will be on the shelves by late afternoon,” he said.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology Mount Isa can expect more rain today and Thursday before petering off at the end of the week.
The Mount Isa region has had 25.6mm today.
A weak tropical low in the southern Gulf of Carpentaria and is expected to move southwest over land tonight or on Thursday and weaken further.
The low is not expected to develop into a tropical cyclone.
