Organised by the NWHHS Director of Cultural Capability and Engagement, Christine Mann, the event recognised the small improvements in Indigenous health outcomes and served as an educational event, with a Mount Isa Sexual Health stall, and a stall with Gidgee Healing staff and information.
Mob FM’s Joseph Takurit, Trish MacNamara and Tammy Sam broadcasted from the event and did live interviews with Mount Isa Sexual Health Workers, Nioame Daley and Michael Smith.
