Normanton will be celebrating its 150th birthday in August.

Last year was the C150 celebration in Cloncurry and this year it’s the turn of Normanton with N150. The town of Normanton celebrates its 150th birthday with a street party on Landsborough St on Wednesday, August 8. Carpentaria Shire Council is seeking expressions of interest from local not-for-profit community organisations to provide food and drinking catering and/or recreational stalls for the party. Lodge expressions of interest by email to council@carpentaria.qld.gov.au or ring 4745 2200.
