Spinifex State College, Senior Campus celebrated World’s Greatest Shave.
All students were given the opportunity to get involved by colouring their hair for a gold coin donation or getting the chop.
Teachers raised the stake when they announced they would be willing to part with their locks if a certain donation point of $900 was reached.
The donation point was reached plus more.
Event organisation and Rifle House Master, Ms Katie Hoffman said just under $1500 was raised for the Leukaemia Foundation.
Jon James and Courtney Johnstone, hair professionals from Shut Up and Cut attended with an assortment of the necessary tools required for head shaving.
Head shavers included Teachers, Mr Ward, Mr Stephens, Mr O’Donnell and Students Chris Holdsworth, Xander Roswell and Jacinta Whale.
