The answer is a Battlewon progam.
Former Queensland Origin star John Doyle moved to Mount Isa a few years ago while renowned sports psychologist Marcel Noronha has only been in town a few months but they have known each other a lot longer.
Mr Noronha said he met Doyle two years ago and it just clicked.
"One year later I called him and we spoke about doing something different, we wanted to make real change and had the same mind set and passion to help people," Mr Noronha said.
"Then John said I should just come to Mount Isa and that he would find me work and sure enough he did."
The result was the Battlewon program which combines both their expertise and passion for helping people.
The program, run out of Doyle's Three Sons fitness gym is not only about physical strength, but also mental.
Mr Noronha said the program focuses on being respectful, humble and understanding discipline.
"One of our members was a young girl who was going through some poor behaivour at school, now in just four months she is out of trouble and her grades are sky high," Mr Noronha said.
Mr Doyle said it was a big deal to have Marcel move to Mount Isa.
"His resume is world class, he has worked with the Brisbane Broncos, Illawarra Dragons, Australian swim team at the Olympics and recently returned from the FIFA world cup where he worked with Guam.
The proof has been in the pudding after three young men from the program were selected in the Cowboys under 18 feeder side Townsville Blackhawks.
Mr Doyle said they know they can text or call at anytime and we will be there for them.
"You don't just walk into a gym you walk into a family."
