Sport and beautification chair councillor Kim Coghlan said the star players were in the city for tomorrow night's RACQ North Queensland Rescue Sportsman's Dinner.
"I don't want kids to miss out on meeting them so we've organised this signing session," she said.
"I think it's a really great chance for kids to meet their sporting heroes."
She welcomed kids to bring their sporting memorabilia along to the session, starting at 1pm tomorrow afternoon at the council chambers on West Street.
"I think it's really great for girls too getting a chance to meet Chelsea," she said. "This is the first time we've had a female involved.
"Mount Isa has a really great netball following and it's a chance for young girls to meet a role model."
Chris 'Buddha' Handly will MC the night, and such has been the community response to the line up, organisers have brought in two extra tables to accomodate the 330 people expected to turn up - an increase of 40 from last year.
North Queensland Rescue CEO Alex Dorr said the increase was to be expected given the calibre of speakers taking to the stage this year.
