WA Police have released a composite image of a man they believe punched a woman in the face on Sunday morning. The assault happened at about 11am as the woman was jogging on a bush track from Neil Hawkins Park towards Joondalup Drive, when she was approached by a man. After a brief conversation, the man is believed to have struck her in the face. The woman ran from the area and sought help. She is believed to have suffered minor injuries due to the assault. Joondalup Local Policing Team said the offender was described as being dark skinned, approximately 35 to 40-years-of-age, with black scruffy hair, a chubby build and around183cm tall. He was wearing a black top and dark blue jeans. Police also continue to search for a man in connection with an assault on a female jogger in Swanbourne on Saturday afternoon. The woman had been jogging near Alfred Road bushland at around 3pm when she was approached by the man. Police say the man ran towards the woman whilst committing an indecent act, and forced the woman to flee back onto the footpath. The man disappeared into the bushland, and the jogger reported the incident to Wembley Police. The man is described as being 40 to 50-years-of-age with dark skin, dark eyes, a dark beard, a stocky build and around 175cm tall. Police believe he was wearing a red turban, green jumper and dark pants.
