The Role
This position offers the successful candidate to be responsible for production targets in a safe and cost efficient manner while ensuring the development of the Concentrator Operations team. The operational areas covers, grinding and flotation circuits, wet and Pastefill plants, filtering and other surface infrastructure.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Optimising throughput, recovery, maximising utilisation in a safe and cost effective manner
• Identification of and ability to deliver optimal strategies and operational planning for the department
• Drive process and improvement in both routine operations and long term projects aligned with business strategy
• Ensuring compliance with site and statutory standards
• Responsible for working in partnership with the stakeholder groups to foster continuous positive relationships

 
You will have the following skillset and attributes:

• A tertiary qualification in process/chemical engineering, extractive mineral processing or relevant trade certification
• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience working in an operating process plant environment ideally in a leadership capacity
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Solid experience in working and developing work teams to deliver positive business outcomes
• Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Programs Suites
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
