POLICE are still no closer to finding any trace of missing Ballarat mother-of-four Kobie Parfitt after a second day of searching rugged bushland in Snake Valley. The 43-year-old is believed to have been missing since April 28 this year when she was last seen at an address in Hickman Street. Police are of the belief that Ms Parfitt has been murdered and that some clue will be found in the fernery in Snake Valley by Homestead Drive, just off the Pittong-Snake Valley Road. Detectives have already searched a number of properties and spoken to a number of people in relation to the disappearance and are still trying to piece together the movements that led to Ms Parfitt's disappearance. Detective Inspector Andrew Stamper said police had returned to the area a number of times as part of this investigation and will continue to return each time they receive new information. "There are definitely people in the Ballarat community who know what happened to Kobie," he said.
