THE Camerata of St John’s professional Queensland Chamber string orchestra yesterday presented their inaugural free school workshop for students in the city to attend.
The event took place at Happy Valley State School, with students enjoying a short concert before strings were heard from every classroom as tutors split up into groups to perform their workshops.
The orchestra took to the stage at Spinifex Senior Campus in the Multimedia Centre last night.
The workshops and concert is part of their tour to the Townsville Australian Festival Chamber of Music.
