Adels Grove started the 2015 tourist season with record accommodation numbers and the camping grounds brimming with visitors from far and wide.
Traditionally starting about April each year, the peak season for the Adels Grove team began on Easter long weekend.
Always popular with families, the four-day weekend saw the park’s waterholes, canoes and pontoon boat tours getting a workout along with a record 60 children participating in the Easter Sunday Egg Hunt.
Growing from strength to strength and collecting a host of tourism awards over the past two years, park managers Rod and Michelle Low Mow are looking forward to continuing to grow visitor numbers in 2015.
“It was fantastic to see such great numbers, support and rave reviews over the Easter long weekend,” Michelle said.
“Although we operate year-round, April is always the time we start to see visitor numbers increase.
“We have been working really hard putting up our pre-erected tent accommodation and generally making sure the park is in tip-top shape for the peak season – making sure our visitors have the best possible experience.
‘‘We are really looking forward to welcoming the rest of our seasonal staff in the next couple of weeks and kicking off our seasonal tours.’’
Proactive in the tourism sector and renowned as one of the most picturesque sites in the outback, Adels Grove will also be playing host to Tourism Queensland’s ‘‘Outback Insta Roadtrip’’ this week, featuring high-profile social media influencers, photographers and videographers.
The multi award-winning camping park oasis is located just 10 kilometres from the Lawn Hill Gorge in Boodjamulla National Park. To check out the range of accommodation, tours, services and facilities on offer at Adels Grove see www.adelsgrove.com .au or follow them on Facebook or Twitter.
