Indigenous Affairs Minister Nigel Scullion has used a Prime Minister Turnbull visit to Brisbane on Friday to hail the work of Camooweal’s Dugalunji Aboriginal Corporation’s managing director Colin Saltmere. At the announcement of a $115m Indigenous Entrepreneurs Package, Senator Scullion referenced Mr Saltmere as “an example of Indigenous innovation and entrepreneurship”. Dugalungi is working with UQ to create spinifex-based condoms.
