The crews were called to a property on Darling Crescent in Pioneer where a blaze had started.
Mount Isa Fire Station officer Scott Castree said there were no casualties in the fire.
“There was a shipping container involved in the fire.
“We got a call mid-morning and on arrival found the container and its contents on fire,” Officer Castree said.
Officer Castree said it took the three crews 20 minutes to get the blaze under control.
“There was a leaking gas cylinder involved in the fire.
“When we send crews with breathing apparatus into structural fires we like to have extra crew on hand,” Officer Castree said.
An ambulance was at the scene for potential injuries to residents and to assess the fire crew when they left the property.
Police blocked access to traffic along Darling Crescent during the fire.
Darling Crescent was reopened to traffic once the fire was extinguished.
