Owner Cathy Bimrose and her husband Andrew have been painting the back section of the store in bright colours where the section dedicated to Lego is going to be. The first display is likely to be ready in time with the Lego Batman movie showing at the Mount Isa Cinema in March.
A display built by the Bimroses and some customers every month will also show off what can be done with Lego. There will be $1000s worth of Lego in each display, she said.
When asked why the toyshop was dedicated to Lego, she said; “it’s just such a popular range. And for our own Lego collection, to fulfill our own Lego love.
“It’s been around for years and caters to every age range. Most of my customers are adult customers interested in the big technic sets. It’s been around so long the adult generation are addicted and are carrying it on to their kids.”
