Registration to this year’s Welcoming Babies Day closes Friday. Council’s annual Welcoming Babies Day on February 21, is a celebration of new life in Mount Isa, giving parents and babies from newborn to 12 months the chance to participate in the special event. The event will feature stalls from local baby and family orientated services and businesses, a morning tea, and the ceremony will involve each baby and family presented with a personalised certificate and gift from Mayor Joyce McCulloch.
