Isa Rodeo Manager Natalie Flecker said the rodeo would again hold tickets at the 2014 prices, with an adult ticket $40 (day), children aged seven to 17 costing $10 and children under seven free.
“We have managed to not increase the ticket price for the past four rodeos, while at the same time increasing the quality of the experience at the rodeo,” Ms Flecker said.
“For example, during this period we have focused on improving the entertainment on offer outside the arena.

We have introduced spectacular new staging and increased the calibre and number of artists who entertain over the rodeo weekend.”
Ms Flecker said online ticket sales opened at 9am on Friday.
“We expect our reserved gold seating to be extremely popular, judging by previous years,” she said.
“There is a limited number of these premium seats opposite the chutes and I expect them to be snapped up pretty quickly.”
She said chute tours, a premium ”behind the scenes” guided tour taking in the chutes and views from the announcer’s box, were also once again expected to be popular.
A new Discover Mount Isa tour would be on offer from August 1 – 21, and was designed for visitors to experience the city and surrounds in one action-packed tour.
“We have been working with local operators to expand the visitor experiences on offer, so that visitors will stay longer in our region,” Ms Flecker said.
Highlights of the Discover Mount Isa tour include a guided city tour, going underground on a Hard Times mine tour, Riversleigh fossil tour, various attractions including local art galleries, and culminating in sunset drinks at a desert lake.
The biggest and richest rodeo in the Southern Hemisphere will be held from August 11 to 13, 2017.
