Two-year-old Alexa Swann was absolutely delighted to meet the Easter Bunny in the club’s Boomerang Cafe, and between the hugs was reaching for the bunny’s chocolate basket.
Her parents said they had been telling Alexa the Easter Bunny would be arriving for several days, and they had put down some footprints around the house the night before so she could see he had visited.
David Laffin, 7, surrounded by his family, said that he loved Easter because it was the day the chocolate was free.
His siblings suggested that Easter was about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and also the chance to play Xbox.
“Yay, everyone wins!” David exclaimed.
The Easter Bunny visited the Buffs Club from 9.30am and was accompanied by staff member Jess Owens, who also took photos.
Personal trainer Sarah Gale also escorted the Easter Bunny throughout the heat of the day. She asked the community to share their addresses on her social media post so that the Easter Bunny could meet the children of Mount Isa.
