Mount Isa RSL Sub-Branch and Mount Isa City Council are inviting the public to attend the services in the city on Anzac Day (Tuesday, April 25).
There is no march planned this year for the dawn service which will start at 6am at the Cenotaph on the Civic Centre Lawn.
It will be followed by a gunfire breakfast provided by Apex at 7am at the Civic Centre Auditorium, for veterans, service personnel and family members only.
The main Anzac Day march will assemble in the carpark next to the Police Station on Isa St at 9am for a 9.30am start.
The march commences from Isa Street, across to Miles Street, down Rodeo Drive to West Street to the Cenotaph.
The main service is at the Cenotaph at 10am.
Anyone wishing to lay a wreath at either service can register by contacting Mount Isa City Council on 4747 3282.
Public parking will be available in the carpark to the rear of the City Library on West Street or the carpark behind Little West Street Lane exiting on Isa Street.
The Camooweal dawn service will be at 6am at the War Memorial.
In Cloncurry the parade for the dawn service will fall in at 5.40pm for the 5.45am dawn service at the Cenotaph, corner Scarr and Sheaffe Sts.
There will follow a gunfire breakfast at the Community Precinct, all welcome for a gold coin donation.
For the main service the parade is to form up at the RSL from 8.50am with the service at the Cenotaph at 9am.
Refreshments will follow at the Recreation Grounds.
There will be a Dawn Service and Anzac Day Service held in Julia Creek.
For the Dawn Service meet at the RSL at 5.30am.
For the main service meet at the RSL at 10.15am for the 10.30pm service at the Cenotaph.
A Lions Ladies morning tea for $2 follows the service.
The Burke Shire Council is holding an Anzac Day Dawn Service and the Morning Service at the Burketown Cenotaph in front of the Visitor Centre. The Dawn service will begin at 6am followed by a sausage sizzle.
The Morning Service will be held at the Cenotaph, with the march from corner of Beames and Musgrave St at 10.45am.
Boulia will have a 10am morning service at the cenotaph followed by morning tea at the library.
