Don’t Change, the INXS Story can perform a range of 30 songs including What You Need, Suicide Blonde, and Never Tear Us Apart. The band promoters label it as a performance.
It’s a 2.5 hour show to be held on Saturday night. It includes two one hour sets with a 15 minute encore.
It’s labelled a performance with the first half dedicated to the time when INXS concentrated on its Australian audience, while the second half focuses on their international expansion.
The tribute band is led by frontman Blair Dwyer, who performs in place of Michael Hutchence. He’s an actor and musician who has supported many international touring acts at festivals including Big Day Out.
The other tribute band members are guitarist Chris Michael J, saxophone performer Sandon Rigg, keyboardist Steve Samyia, bass player Mike Hennessey, and drummer Steve Cox.
Tickets are $20 and can be bought from the Buffs Club reception. Doors to the show open at 8pm, Saturday.
