Karters return to Lagoon Park Raceway for the 2017 Central Queensland Catering Championships. The club’s marquee event for the year will run on Saturday and Sunday with plenty of action across all classes.

The event will be run in both directions with Qualifying and 4 races run anti clockwise on Saturday while Sunday will see the same format clockwise. First up is is Cadet 12. Myles Campbell will head in as favorite, while in KA4 Junior Tara Sidnell will look to continue her strong season form.
The fastest class will be TAG 125. Mark Bond and Kevin Rowsell will be favorites after finishing nose to tail last time out.
The biggest class will be KA3 Senior Medium with eight drivers set to take to the track. The battle for the top spot will be fierce between Anthony Rowsell, Scott Geary, Louis Lowe, Brett Twyford and Trevor Hollyman. The action kicks off with qualifying 2pm Saturday and on Sunday 10am at Lagoon Park Raceway, Bendall Dr off Duchess Rd.
Grandstand seating and canteen facilities are available.
Closed in footwear will allow entry into the pit area.
