Isa police give seniors safety tips

On July 14, police attended the Mount Isa Respite Centre, to provide information on home security and elder abuse to senior community members. Senior Constables Michele White and Renee Matthews, and Sergeant Cath Purcell, were welcomed by a morning tea decorated in blue and white chequered flags. The presentation included personal safety strategies, information on elder abuse and home security tips. The presentation is part of a project to provide senior community members with current information and safety strategies.
