Aimee comes to the area with 14 months of experience at the indigenous community of Doomadgee and is looking forward to engaging with the Pioneer community and assisting with projects in housing, road safety, adopt-a-cop and domestic violence prevention.
Acting Senior Constable Kyle Dennison of the Pioneer Community Police Beat said Mount Isa Police were glad to have her onboard.
“The dedication Aimee displays to the Mount Isa Community is evident through her self-initiated projects such as providing care packages to those affected by domestic violence and close work with the Heart Foundation,” he said.
“I know Aimee will excel in serving the community of Pioneer and is looking forward to meeting each and every one”.
Members of the community should feel free to stop into the beat for a chat or if you see Aimee and Kyle around make sure you say hello.
